Kasia Koltunska
Biography
Kasia Koltunska was born in Szczecin, Poland, but at the age of five moved with her family to a tiny town called Niedereschach in the Black Forest region of Germany. At the age of ten Kasia again moved with her family – this time to Kitchener, Ontario. This proved to be temporary, and within a few short months they continued the trek to the west coast. Since that time Kasia has called Vancouver home. She obtained her degrees in history and German from UBC in 2004 and continued to obtain her Bachelors of Law degree from the same university in 2007. Kasia was called to the Bar in 2008.
Kasia is a trial lawyer with a focus on personal injury litigation. She has represented both victims injured in accidents as well as insurance companies and their insured. She has appeared both in the Provincial Court and in the Supreme Court. She has also represented clients in other civil litigation matters. Kasia seeks to work with her clients to attain the best possible outcomes. She enjoys the high pressure setting of the courthouse as well as the extensive research involved in complex litigation issues found in case law and legislation.
